Our Christmas 2007 Return to Flower Mound

We enjoyed our five-day return visit to Flower Mound, even if we've spent much of that time holding down daughter Sarah's fort at Medical City hospital. That was an unplanned detour that unfortunately consumed much of our attention. Still our return home was not without its highlights, including:
  • Seeing the completed three-lane FM2499 (south of FM1171), and almost getting my car split in half a couple of times while trying to make a left turn onto the new wider road.
  • Palios Pizza!
  • Snuffers in Highland Village. It was every bit as good as my first visit to the original Snuffers back in my SMU days in the early 1980s. By the way, that's one heckuva shopping center they've built in HV.
  • Seeing our good friends at Main Street Vet. Thanks for checking over our new puppy!
  • Most of all, seeing some of our neighbors and old friends, but not nearly as many as I'd hoped we'd see.

Hi Chip,

Glad you came back for a visit. Yeah we like the new HV shopping area too. Wished it was in FM. I try to keep up with your blog in VA.

Hi, Chip! Bridger has enjoyed the fish he adopted from Andrew, but one died. We bought a few more and one lived through the experience. So what do you think about all the drilling hoopla? It makes me sad.....I'm deciding what to do. I'm envisioning me on the corner with activist type signs hanging from my body. Tell Susan I said hello. Baby Cormac is getting so big!
